Ten classic days: Cairo, the sleeper train to Aswan, a three-night cruise to Luxor on the Le Fayan, and soft all-inclusive nights in Sharm El Sheikh.
Visit the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, then take the sleeper train to Aswan and board the cruise for the High Dam, Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor. After the West Bank, fly to Sharm El Sheikh for time by the sea before returning to Cairo.
Hotels are the Hilton Pyramids and the Sultana Gardens in Sharm, or similar. Diving can be added as an extra.

Check out of the boat. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, then fly to Sharm El Sheikh. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Another day by the Red Sea for the beach or water sports.
Free time in the morning, then travel back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel. Meals: Breakfast.
