Cairo - Alexandria
Two days from Hurghada by plane: Giza and Cairo's two great museums, then a day in Alexandria on the Mediterranean.
Fly to Cairo for the Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, with a night at a five-star hotel. Day two is Alexandria: the Catacombs, Pompey's Pillar, the Qaitbay Citadel and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, with a seafood lunch.
Flights, a private Egyptologist, lunches and transfers are included.
Pickup from your Hurghada hotel for the morning flight to Cairo. Visit the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, then the Grand Egyptian Museum. After lunch, tour the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir. Overnight at a five-star hotel in Cairo.
Drive to Alexandria for the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar and the Qaitbay Citadel. After a seafood lunch, visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, then return to Cairo airport for the flight to Hurghada.
